Mary Joan Brantley Deal, age 78 of Chipley, FL passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Northwest Florida Community Hospital. Joan was born February 6, 1936 in Albany, GA to the late James and Lavada Parker (Brantley). She is a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and is a member of the Holmes Creek Baptist Church of Chipley. Joan is survived by one daughter, Jenny Laster of Chipley, FL and many close friends and family. Funeral services will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation.
