Mary Frances Culpepper Nettles age 89 peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 17, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born October 3, 1924. She was married to her "Ole Pal" Gene Nettles for 72 years, who preceded her in death by just over two months. Mary is survived by her four children, son, Don (Margaret) Nettles of Tallahassee, FL., daughter, Judy Harry of Baton Rouge. LA, son, Edward (Kathy) Nettles of Milton, FL. daughter, Jo Malpas of Mobile, AL. Seven Grandchildren Lee Nettles of Tallahassee, Deidre (Rodney) Vick of Stuart FL, Mark (Melina) Harry of Gonzales, LA.., Heather(Louis) Cassida of Pace, FL., Todd Harry of Fleming Island, FL., Kellum (Mark) Kirchharr of Pace, FL. and Meredith Nettles of Washington DC. Nine Great Grandchildren Savannah, Loc, Cameron, Kailey, Chandler, Olivia, Sofia, Claudia, Ty, Jaxson and Bronson. Mary was a strong and independent woman. She was best known for running her household, being an excellent cook, friend and neighbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Glenwood Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
