Marilyn Maria (DeBoer) Smith, 77, of Chipley, Florida passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 in Dothan, Ala. Mrs. Smith was born on April 3, 1933 in Panama City, Florida to John and Ida Belle (Thompson) DeBoer. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Holmes Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her Son: Clay Smith, Adel, Georgia. Daughter: Melissa Smith Braxton and husband J. L. of Cottondale, Florida. Sister: Pamela Kitching, Graceville, Florida. 1 Grandchild and 2 Step-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Holmes Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Stacey Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
