Margie L. Ricks, age 94 of Winter Garden, FL passed from this life on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Health Central Park Nursing and Rehab Center. Margie was born on October 19,1928, in Chipley, FL to the late Louis and Nora (Creamer) Sasser.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Ricks and her two daughters, Wanda Lunsford, Betty Petno. Four brothers Jr Sasser, Virgil Sasser, Milton Sasser and Bobby Sasser. Two sister, Voncile Sasser and Madlyn Martin and her grandson, Steve Petno.

Survivors include her brother Roger Sasser of Chipley Fl. Her daughter Barbara Loyed and husband Roger of Winter Garden, FL and Son in-Law John Petno of Zellwood, Fl. Along with Nine grandchildren, Roger Loyed, Natalie Colon and husband Mingo, Jeff Cockcroft and wife Jessica, Jana Taylor and husband Charles, Angie Petno, Joe Petno and wife Betsy. Twelve great-grandchildren, Dallas, Reese (Matthew), Remington, Colt, Madison (Zach), Trey, Trever, Reid, Shayna, Kristen, Johnny and Justin. Three great-great grandchildren, Ella Grace, Brinlee and Rilynn. Funeral

Services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Blue Lake Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at Blue Lake Cemetery.
