Margaret E. Whitfield, age 79, passed from this life Monday, October 8, 2018 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. She was born in Austell, GA on August 19, 1939 to Ralph and Anna Sue (Smalley) Godfrey.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Whitfield and her brother; Hank Godfrey.

She is survived by her children; Medea Callahan, Blaine Hirst and wife Nicole, Kim Ellis and husband Chris, and Mike Whitfield and wife Tiffany, her grandchildren; Carmen C. Bushand husband Shane, Candace Donaldson and husband Jeff, Justin Ellis and wife Hollie, Rick Callahan and Aleah, Alyssa C. Pate and husband Anthony, Rachel Colavito and husband Anthony, Sarah Quinn and husband Austin, Tyler Hirst, Mallory Whitfield, Dylan Whitfield, Jamie Ellis Lee and husband Dylan, and Addy Miller, 14 great grandchildren and 1 more due anytime.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home of Chipley, FL.  In Memory Of "Evelyn Whitfield" donations can be made to Emerald Coast Hospice 1330 South Blvd. Chipley, FL 32428. Interment will be held at Jones Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, GA at a later date.
