Mamie E. Sapp, 83 of Southport, FL passed away at her home on July 29, 2022.  She was born December 19, 1938 in Southport to Leroy and Mary Alice Ellis.

Mamie retired from Northwest Florida Community Hospital as Personnel Director after many years of service.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Sapp, her parents Leroy and Mary Ellis and a sister Genelle Ellis.

She is survived by her children, Ricky Sapp (Jo) of Panama City, FL, Vicki Syfrett (Karl) of Chipley, FL and Anita Lee (Keith) of Vernon, FL; her grandchildren, Jaime Chapman (John), Samantha Sapp, Nicole Hutchison (Chris), Austin Syfrett (Janae), Drake Syfrett, Daniel Lee (Jessica), Dylan Lee (Jamie); her great grandchildren Sophia Chapman, Wyatt Syfrett, Darci Lee, Case Lee, Colt Lee and Will Hutchison.  She is also survived by her brother, W. H. Ellis (Jo Ann), her sister Hilda Miller (Jesse), her special caregiver and friend, Andrea Thompson and many favored nieces and nephews of Southport.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 1 ^st at Sapp Community Holiness Church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a celebration of life service at 11:00 officiated by Bro. William "Chubby" Watson.  Brown Funeral Home has handled all arrangements and interment will be at Sapp Cemetery.
