Mamie Sue Carver, age 79 of Chipley, died Saturday, September 19th in the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. A native of Abbeville, Alabama, she had been a resident of Chipley for the past 30 years, coming from Dallas, Texas. She was a homemaker and was of Baptist Faith. She is predeceased by a Grandson. Survivors include her Husband; Alvin Carver of Chipley, two Daughters: Virginia Dale of Tyler, Texas and Marie Hitzelberger of Gun Barrel, Texas, five Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday evening, September 21st from 6 to 8 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main St. Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Main St. with Dr. Paul Foxworth officiating.Interment will follow in Wachob-Forest Lawn Cemetery.
