Maggie Jeanette Floyd, age 86, of Cottondale, FL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 11, 2023.  She was born on April 24, 1936 in Jackson County to the late William Brannon and Julie Luella (Coley) Brannon.

Maggie is a lifelong resident of the Jackson County area and she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Alford, FL.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ellis Franklin Floyd and numerous brothers and sisters.  She is survived by two sons, Herman Floyd and wife Judy of Cottondale, FL, Ellis Floyd Jr. of Cottondale, FL, one daughter, Diane Braxton and husband Kenneth of Cottondale, FL, seven grandchildren, John Floyd, Jaimie Chason and husband Mike, Matthew Braxton and wife Amanda, Millicent Braxton, Cassie Treachman and husband Travis, Chalop Floyd and wife Felicia, Gina Hernandez and husband Raul and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Cloys Joiner officiating.  Interment will follow at Sapp Cemetery.
