Mae Belle Weakley, age 75 of Chipley, died Tuesday June 9th, 2009 at her home. A native of Chipley, she had returned here from Palm Harbor, Fla. in 1994, after having lived there for 52 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Blue Lake Baptist Church in Chipley. Survivors include her Husband of 57 years; Pete Weakley of Chipley, two Daughters: Barbara Weakley and Elaine Mayfield both of Chipley. One Sister; Evelyn Carpenter of Dade City, six Grandchildren, Nikki Kolmetz and Husband Freddie, Richard Allen and Wife Marilyn, Ashley Allen, Peter Mayfield, Kendra Mayfield and Lauren Mayfield, all of Chipley. Two Great-Grandchildren; Mattie Kolmetz and Ole Allen, both of Chipley.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11th, 2009 at 3:30 P.M. in the Blue Lake Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Evans officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Blue Lake Baptist Church Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home of Chipley directing.
