Madeline M. LaGois, age 83 of Vernon, died Sunday, November 8th, 2008 in the Southeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. A native of Hartford, Connecticut, she had been a resident of Vernon for the past 27 years. She was a retired dietician. Survivors include a Daughter; Cookie Anderson of Vernon and a Sister; Helen Pitroforta of Vista, Calif., three Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel. Interment will follow in Wachob-Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
