Lynette Evans, age 64 of Chipley, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at her home. Lynette was born May 3, 1947 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Neil and Vivian (Dudley) West. She had been a resident of Chipley since 1994, coming from Graceville, Florida and was a homemaker and of Pentecostal Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, John Evans and a daughter, Joann Evans. Survivors include; four sons, Jerry Evans of Lucas Lake, Fla., John Ed Evans II and wife Debra of Sunny Hills, Timothy Evans of Brooksville, Fla. and Clifford Evans and wife Denise of Dayton, Tenn.; three daughters, Tina M. Evans and husband Wayne of Maryland, Sharon Outler and husband Terry of Fountain, Weslie Ann Malloy and husband Lawrence of Lucas Lake; one sister, Brenda Lee Jenkins of Lakeland, Fla; twenty grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Chapel with the Rev. Willis Hagan and Rev. Roger Hagan officiating. Interment will follow in Wachob-Forest Lawn Cemetery in Chipley.
