Lora Mae Johns, age 80 of Wausau, FL passed from this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Lora Mae was born on May 26, 1935 in Washington County to the late William Theo and Delie (Varnum) Miller.
She is a lifelong resident of the Washington County area and was a church member at Calvary Hill Church of Vernon, FL.
Lora Mae is preceded in death by her loving husband, Louis Dalton Johns. Survivors include, one son, Louis D. "Buddy" Johns Jr. and wife Lynn of Wausau, FL, two daughters, Brenda Harris and husband John of Chipley, FL, Cynthia Sellers and husband Bert of Wausau, FL, one brother, W.T. Miller and wife Florene of Wausau, FL, three grandchildren, Terri Austin, Alisha and husband Tim Dunaway, Hannah Sellers, four great grandchildren, Scessalie Austin, Slayde Austin, Madison Dunaway, Dalton Dunaway.
Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Bush officiating. Interment will follow at the Ferguson Cemetery in Wausau, FL with Brown Funeral Home directing.
