Lonnie Thomas Cropper, age 68, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Gulf Coast Medical Hospital in Panama City, FL. He was born in Salisbury, Maryland on March 5, 1954 to Warren Cropper and Phoebe Inez Rothwell.

Lonnie retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Hospital Corpsman. He later went on to earn his Masters Degree in Psychology.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers; Jerry and Donald Wragg, sisters Dolores Cottman, Carlotta Weeks and Connie Cropper.

Lonnie is survived by his ex-wife and long time friend, Deborah Cropper; his children, Mastin Thomas Cropper (Jodi Cropper), Legna Angelia Lotus Raven, Taris Michael Cropper, Tia Lynn Cropper, and Tolan Martin Cropper (Ebony Cropper); his sisters; Pamela Wragg, Helena Wragg, and Marquita Bivens; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and best friends, Bob Clark, Bill Stilley and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Lonnie will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

A celebration of Lonnie's life will be held at his house following the funeral service.  The address is 1667 Barlington Circle, Chipley, FL  32428.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the Navy Relief Fund.
