Linda Nell Goodson, age 81 of Wausau, FL went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on January 12, 1944 in Wausau, FL to the late Ira and Corene (Simmons) Carter.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Carter, Kenneth Carter, one sister, Laura Faye Tiller and one grandson, Will Currid.

Survivors include, her loving husband, Jimmy Goodson of Wausau, FL, one son, Chip Goodson and wife Debra of Wausau, FL, one daughter, Paula Currid and husband Bill of DeFuniak Springs, FL, four grandchildren, Jake Goodson and wife Michelle, Joel Goodson, Julie Steinbach and husband Andy, Freddy Currid and five great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. with the funeral to follow at 2:00 P.M.  Interment will be held at Wausau Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Reverend Roger Dale Hagan will be officiating the services.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Christian Haven Church at 2612 Finch Circle, Chipley, FL 32428.
