Lillian Irene Sexton, age 95 of Alford, Fla., passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the Chipola Health and Rehab in Marianna. Lillian was born February 8, 1919 in Kynesville, Florida to the late J.W. and Cynthia (Shores) Swails. She had returned from Martin County, Florida in 1974. Lillian was a homemaker and member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to her family, she loved quilting, reading and animals especially her Cat "Missy". She was preceded in death by; her parents, J.W. and Cynthia Swails; a daughter, Edwina Elizabeth James as well as two husbands, Frank James and Henry Sexton. Survivors include; two sons, Mitchell James and wife Edna of Alford and Frank Edward James of Macon, Georgia; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home in Chipley with the Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at 1:00 P.M. in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Kynesville, Florida.
