Mr. Leon B Sexton, age 88, of Vernon, FL passed away from this life, September 21, 2023 at home.

He was born April 28, 1935 in Wausau, FL to Jurious W. and Sallie (Carter) Sexton.  Leon served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant.

Leon was predeceased by his first wife, Myrlene (Cook) Sexton, his parents, brother, Neal Sexton, sisters, Oveal West, Cloteel Aday, Voncile Johns.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Sexton, brothers, Willard Sexton (Audrey) of Vernon, FL and Robert Sexton (Frances) of Southport, FL.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at New Hope Methodist Church of New Hope, FL.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 P.M.  Reverend Roger Dale Hagan will be officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Hope Methodist Cemetery.
