Laura Lynn Jones, age 56, passed from this life Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, FL. She was born in Marianna, FL on May 28, 1960 to Davis Lavaughn and Maxine Viola "Richter" Pettis.

Lynn did wood working at her home and has lived in this area all her life. She loved being outside. Her favorite place was in the ocean on their lovely unite shores.

She was a headstrong, hardworking woman. Lynn had a heart of gold that was filled with love for her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth Jones of Chipley, FL. Three sons; Nick Long, Isaac Long and Nelson Long. One Daughter; Kristin Watford. One brother; Rodney Pettis and 6 grandchildren; Jared Watford, Caleb Watford, Joshua Watford, Graelynn Watford, Ava Long, and Julieann Long.

Funeral service will be held 2:00P.M., Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerre Russell Ritcher officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
