Larry Gene Snook, age 78 of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed from this life on Monday, March 17, 2025.  He was born on February 25, 1947 In Aurora, MO to the late Floyd Snook and Zelma (Privitt) Snook.

Larry served in the United States Air Force from April 13,1966 until his retirement on April 30,1992.  He proudly retired as a SMSgt.  During his years with the Air Force he was stationed in Germany, Vietnam, Guam, California, San Antonia, South Carolina, Alaska and Florida.  He was also a proud charter member at King Lake Chapel in DeFuniak Springs.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Caycee Lyn Smith, his son, Don Finch Sr., and two brothers, Paul Snook and Gary Snook.

Survivors include, his loving wife, Julie (Finch) Snook of DeFuniak Springs, FL, one daughter, Rebecca Holmes of North Carolina, two sons, Tony Roy and wife Patsy and Roger Roy and wife Kimberly of DeFuniak Springs, FL, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 P.M.  Interment will be held at Gap Pond Cemetery in Sunny Hills, FL.  Pallbearers for the service will be Cody Roy, Justin Roy, Don Finch, Matthew Finch, Dustin Dugger, and Dewayne Tharpe.
