Lamar Grantham, 64, of Vernon, Florida, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 23, 1948 to the late Lloyd Grantham and Lillie (Carter) Grantham. Mr. Grantham was a lifelong resident of Vernon, Florida. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Christian Haven Church. Mr. Grantham worked in the maintenance department for the City of Chipley. He was survived by his wife Laurie Grantham of Vernon, Florida, four sons; Elliot Grantham of Wausau, Florida, Austin Grantham of Wauau, Florida, Zachary, Kortering of Vernon, Florida, Daniel Grantham of Vernon, Florida, three daughters; Lillie Helton of Vernon, Florida, Caylah Kortering Of Chipley, Florida, Ellen Grantham of Vernon, Florida, One Brother: Loyal Gratham, Crawfordville, Fl. three sisters; Lena Raulerson of Crawfordville, Florida, Louise Pelache of Bay County, Lurine Skompski of Bay County, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel With Reverend Carlos Finch and Reverend Ronnie Gene Hagan officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Wausau Memorial Garden in Wausau, Florida with Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
