Kylie Britain "Brit" Morris, age 23, of Marianna, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016, from a tragic hunting accident. He was born in Marianna on July 2, 1993 to Greg and Lana Morris.
Brit is a 2012 Marianna High School graduate and pursued his degree in Criminology from Chipola College until 2014. He worked along side his mother at Kelson Drugs from 2008-2012. He later began his career, with his Dad, at Snelgrove Surveying and Mapping from 2013 until today.
Everyone that knew him, knew that he was an avid outdoorsman, with a passion for hunting and fishing. His greatest love was fishing Chipola River and hunting and fishing on the family property on Holmes Creek. He was always on the hunt for the biggest buck. Brit was known for his charming personality and infectious smile. He never met a stranger. He has a heart of gold and would go out of his way to help anyone.
Brit is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Barbara Sims.
Brit is survived by his parents; paternal grandparents; Richard and Brenda Morris of Graceville, FL; sister, Courtney Morris of Marianna, FL; brother, Nate Morris of Marianna, FL. Uncles; Garry and wife Denise Morris of Graceville, FL, Randy and wife Raegan Morris of Dothan, AL, Russell Morris of Graceville, FL, Dustin and wife Jessica Sims of Dothan, AL, Cody and wife Janine Sims of Marianna, FL. Aunts; Darlene and husband Bob See of Marianna, FL, Lisa and husband Donnie Folks of Tampa Bay, FL. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins and lifelong friends; D.J. Johnson, Ryan Hughes and Skylar Singletary. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Grace and Glory Chapel in Chipley with the Rev. Tim Owen officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8P.M., Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
