Wanda K. Hanson, age 75 of Chipley, FL passed from this life on January 27, 2023 at Jackson Hospital.  She was born on April 22, 1947 in Chipley, FL to the late James H. Payne and Frankie W. (Jensen) Payne.

Kay, as her friends knew her, moved back to Chipley in 2012 coming from McHenry, IL.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jeff Hanson and a great grandson, Bryan Howes Jr.

Survivors include, son, Larry Rockett and wife Jolene Rockett, son, Terry Rockett, brother, James Payne and wife Audrey Payne, brother, Johnnie Miles and wife Wilma Miles, one sister, Tonya Miles, four grandchildren, Shaylene and husband Bryan, Alex and wife Sara, Coty, Ashley and her partner Matthew.  She is also survived by six great grandchildren, Chloe, Caliber, Amee, Hudson, Josie and Bridger.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
