Kathryn (Kitty) Louise Nelson, age 70 of Chipley, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 in the Bay Medical Center in Panama City. Kathryn was born December 14, 1942 in Newport, West Virginia to the late Fred T. and Lucile (Hutchins) Coleman. She was a homemaker, a member of the Grace and Glory Church in Chipley and had been a resident here since 1992, coming from Sneads, Florida. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Gregory Nelson and one grandson Shane Roberts. Survivors include; two daughters, Tammy Lee Nelson and Pamela Gail Roberts both of Chipley, FL.; two brothers, Jimmy Ellis and Dennis Coleman; one sister, Mary Bruner and husband Jeff; one half-sister, Joanne Walden; two grandchildren, Holly and Levi Roberts and nine great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel with funeral services beginning at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 with Reverend Debbie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Rock Hill Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
