Katherine Goolsby Schmidt, age 62, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was born in Boynton Beach, Florida on October 18, 1962 to Theodore Richard and Regina Veronica (Hanifin) Goolsby. Katherine was a homemaker for her family.

She is preceded by her parents, her husband; David Schmidt and her brother; Ted Goolsby. Katherine is survived by her son; Ronald Livings and wife Alyssa, her sisters; June Cummings, Veronica Gordon, Beth Kish and Caroline Driscoll, her grandson; Jack Livings and her good friend; Harry Donaldson.

Memorialization will be by cremation with Brown Funeral Home & Blue Lake Crematory of Chipley, FL in charge of arrangements.
