Josephine Tummenelle, age 97, passed from this life Friday, November 1, 2024 at her home. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 24, 1927 to Charles Scappa and Lucy Vaccerlli. Josephine was a homemaker for her family.

She is preceded by her parents, her husband's; Daniel James Hayes and John Joseph Tummenelle, her daughter; Dawn Ann Collins, and her son; Patrick Hayes. Josephine is survived by her daughter; Paullette Durkin and husband Ken, her two sons; Daniel Hayes and wife Connie, John Tummenelle and wife Amy, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 4, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Ellis officiating. Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. before the service.
