Joseph Leonard Garrette, age 69 of Chipley, passed away Thursday October 28, 2010 in the Bay Medical Center in Panama City. A resident of Chipley most of his life, Mr. Garrette was born September 19, 1941 in Southport, Florida to the late Joseph Langford and Rebecca (Weeks) Garrette. He was a retired auto mechanic for C & D Pontiac and Garrette Auto Service in Chipley. Survivors include one Brother; Houston Garrette and his Wife Mary Ann of Chipley and one Sister; Frances Elaine Garrette of Chipley. Memorialization will be by cremation with memorial services to be held later. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
