Joseph Michael Cain (DJ Kane) of Chipley, age 29, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 in Jacksonville, Florida. Born in Donalsonville, Georgia, he had been a resident of Chipley most of his life. He was a pest control technician and a member of Blue Lake Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Linda and Ferrell Cain of Chipley; a son and daughter, Landon and Audrey Cain and their mother April Cain of Jacksonville; a brother, Brian Cain and wife Vanessa of Orlando; a niece, Natasha Cain and nephew, Grayson Cain, both of Orlando. Also surviving is a special goddaughter, Taylin Crisp of Chipley. Michael loved his children, his family, his truck, and being a DJ. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the New Home Baptist Church near Graceville with the Rev. Brian Taylor and Rev. Jerry Bush officiating.
