John Zaha, age 89 of Chipley, Florida, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 in Chipley. Mr. Zaha was born February 7, 1924 in Aurora, Illinois to the late George and Julia (Ratz) Zaha. He was a retired plumber and U. S. Navy veteran. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Doris and a granddaughter, Vanessa Carter. Survivors include: one son, Daniel Zaha and special friend, Lanny Kemmis of Chipley: two daughters, Cindy Graber and husband Gerald of Chipley, and Penny Carter of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one brother, Nick Zaha of Texas; one sister, Martha Smith of Illinois; four grandchildren, Richard Carter, Jason Graber, Jared Graber and Lisa Callahan; seven grandchildren. Memorialization will be by cremation.
