John William Joyner, age 64 of Chipley, died Sunday, June 21st in the Northwest Florida Community Hospital. A native of West Bay, he had been a resident here for the past four years coming from PineLog Community. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and member of the West Bay Community Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his Parents; John H. and Annis Locklear Joyner, a Brother; Edward Earl Joyner, and a Great Grandchild. Survivors include his Wife; Barbara Joyner of Chipley, three Sons: William Joyner and Wife Ann of Quincy, Fla., Michael Carlton of Chipley and Clenny Davis of Florida. Seven Daughters: Patricia Nicoles of Crestview, Heidi Hand and Husband Wayne of Manderville, La., Terana Corbin of Chipley, Selina Trice and Husband Rodney of Birmingham, Ala., Kelissa Joyner of Chipley, Marinda Bilyk and Husband Mike of Fountain, Fla., Bambie Anderson and Husband Mark of PineLog Community. Seven Brothers: John Edward Joyner and Wife Clara of West Bay, Wesley Joyner and Wife Marty of West Bay, Jeff B. Joyner and Wife Betty of West Bay, Willie B. Joyner of West Bay, James F. Joyner and Wife Paula of Tallahassee, Benjamin F. Joyner and Wife Linda of Pace, Fla., Johnny B. Joyner and Wife Angela of Conyers, Ga. One Sister;
Maudry Cox and Husband James of West Bay. Fifteen Grandchildren, four Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the West Bay Community Holiness Church. Funeral services will he held Wednesday, June 24th at 10:00 A.M. in the West Bay Community Holiness Church with the Rev. Rossie Bryant and Rev. Leon Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Gunlock Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
