John Thomas Johnson, age 86, passed from this life Friday, February 27, 2015 at Signature Health Care in Marianna, FL surrounded by friends and family. He was born March 12, 1928 at Scotts Ferry in Calhoun County to Sweetie B. Blanchard. John worked as a train conductor and has lived in Panama City, FL for the past 50 years. He is survived by his wife Flora Mae Johnson of Sneads, FL, one son John Johnson and wife Robin of Alford, FL, one step-son James Roy Pilcher and wife Cheryl of Oxford, GA, two daughters Flo Johnson of Panama City, FL and Kathy Johnson of Wewa, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 2, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Almer Williams. Interment will follow in the Millville Cemetery in Panama City, FL. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
