John "Wallace" Johns, 70, resident of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. God's grace brought him home after months of battling cancer….he passed peacefully in hospice care. First and foremost, he knew our Savior Jesus Christ and was ready for his eternal home. He served in the United States Navy, led a very colorful life, and had a dry sense of humor.

John "Wallace" was born December 31, 1952, in Panama City FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, John "Levi" and Gladys Walsingham Johns. He is survived by his sister, Janice Johns Miller, two nephews, Matthew Britt Miller and Justin Britt Miller.

Special thanks to Robert Brannon…Wallace's neighbor and close friend…who was always there for trips to Walmart, chats outside the RV, Golden Corral meals, and trips to medical appointments/cancer treatments.

Private graveside services took place at Wausau Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wausau, Florida. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley, FL is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may sign the online register at www.brownfh.net
