Joey D. Stephenson, age 56 of Vernon, FL passed from this life on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Bay Medical Center in Panama City, FL. Joey was born on August 9, 1959 to the late George and Joyce (Brock) Stephenson in Panama City, FL.

He has been a resident of the Washington County area for the past four years coming from Bay County.

Joey is survived by two brothers, Jeff Stephenson of Vernon, FL, George Stephenson Jr. of Fort Walton Beach, FL, three sisters, Mandy Strickland of Pensacola, FL, Lori Elkins of Austin, TX, Tracey Stephenson of Tallahassee, FL.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Turning Point Church of Chipley, FL. Memorialization will be by cremation.
