Joan Peterson Riley, age 74 of Cottondale, FL passed from this life on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard in Marianna, FL.  She was born on November 20, 1948 in Bonifay, FL to the late Hilton L. Peterson and Roxie Mae (Whitehurst) Peterson.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Patrick Riley, one brother, Charles Peterson, one sister, Bobbie Jean Pettis.  Survivors include, son, Shawn Riley of Marianna, FL, daughter, Tracey Riley of Marianna, FL, three sisters, Joyce Parks, Jenell Walsingham, Laverne Spence, two grandchildren, Bridgitte Nicole Burns, Ty Aaron Riley, four great grandchildren, Malachi Lee Baxter, Jayden Aaron Young, Iris Riley, Ember Riley.

The family will hold a Private Visitation on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.  A Graveside Service will follow at Glenwood Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
