Jimmy L. Strickland, age 73, of Ebro, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Jimmy was born on September 16, 1952, in Bay County, Florida, to the late Villa and Edna Mae (McKinney) Strickland.

Jimmy loved spending time on the river and cherished talking about old times over a cup of coffee. He was always quick with a joke and enjoyed making others laugh. If someone was in need, Jimmy was always willing to help whenever he could, doing so with humility and kindness.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Margie Strickland, and his niece, Kathy Strickland.

He is survived by his loving wife, Manda R. Strickland; daughter, Leslie Adams and husband Noah; brother, Dan Strickland; grandchildren, Colin Adams and Rose Adams; nephew, Tony Strickland and wife Casey; along with multiple other beloved nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Ebro Cemetery in Ebro, Florida, with Bro. John Kennedy officiating.
