Jimmy C. Brock, age 80, passed from this life Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, FL. He was born in Chipley, FL on January 21, 1936 to James C. and Marie "Jones" Brock. Jimmy worked for the Department of Transportation and was a life-long resident of Washington County. He was Methodist by faith and loved to go fishing. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Joyce Bock and three sisters; Myrelle Brock Simmons, M.E. Roberts, and Janice Walsingham. He is survived by his two sons; Jason A. Brock of Chipley, FL and Terry Neal Brock of Vernon, FL. One daughter; Johnna Kay Pierce of Chipley, FL. One brother; Ronnie Brock and wife Joey of Sunny Hills, FL. 12 grandchildren which one he raised; Dillon Brock and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 19, 2016 at Bonnett Pond Church with the Rev. Michael Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Hard Labor Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00A.M. prior to the service. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
