Jesse Dean Shoraga, 74, of Chipley, Florida, passed from this life on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010 at his home in Chipley, Florida. Mr. Shoraga was born on February 11, 1936 to George Dudley and Esther Louise (Eckhoff) Shoraga, in Nakomis, Illinois. He had resided in Chipley, Florida for the last 14 years, coming from Pahrump, Nevada. He was of the Church of Christ Faith and a member of the Chipley Church of Christ, Chipley, Florida. He is survived by his wife Waltena Shoraga, Chipley, Florida. Son: Gary Shoraga and wife Nicole, of the Philippines. Daughter: Terry Moreland and husband Victor, Decatur, Illinois. Brother: Lyle Shoraga and wife Donna, Cerro Gordo, Illinois. 20 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. Step-Children: John Adams, Vivian Maddox, Virgie Bowen, Marsi McDanal and Robert VanderMolen.Funeral services will held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel, with the Minister Wes Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel.
