Jerry Wayne Hinson, age 66, passed from this life December 8, 2015 at his home. He was born in Marianna, FL on December 28, 1948 to Marty J. and Blondell H. (Hutto) Hinson. While in high school, Jerry was recruited by the F.B.I. He worked in Washington, D.C. as a fingerprint tech. Later he became a mechanic specializing in V.W's. His true calling was to become a loving and caring nursing home administrator, for 32 years.

One of Jerry's proudest moments was when he was voted Administrator of the Year by his peers for the
State of Florida. He became an accomplished welder during these years and truly enjoyed it. Jerry enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting with his family and friends and spending time working on different projects around his house, but what he enjoyed the most was being with his wife Betty and his children and grandchildren. The endless amount of love he had to share was amazing.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Faye Hinson, Brother Marty Olan and Wanda Hinson, children, grandchildren, and much beloved nephews and nieces: James Alan, Sonja and Chelcee Reinhardt; Skyler Wells; Mark, Debbie, Austin, Ava, and Lauren Hinson; Carolyn Anne Reinhardt; Scott, Colton, and Casey Hinson; Carrie Lade; Beth and Phillip Garvin; Geri Ellen, Steven, Matthew, Joshua, and Benjamin DiGeorgio; Nicholas and Jessica Whitright; Christopher Allen, Crystal, Cayla, and Colson Reinhardt.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Jerry's life will be celebrated at his home with Reverend Larry Justice, Reverend Savannah Fredricks and Sally Johnson officiating. Come celebrate with us immediately following visitation. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
