Jerry Campbell, 82 of Cottondale, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026. He was born on June 7th, 1943 in Jackson County, Florida to Wallace and Lena Justice Campbell.

Jerry was a graduate of Cottondale High School, Class of 1961. He retired from Florida Department of Transportation in 2003 with 35 years of service and also served 6 years in the Florida National Guard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Lena Campbell, his first wife, Judy Campbell, brother, Ronald Campbell, brother in laws, Johnnie Mitchell and Phil Register.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Sandra Toole, daughter, Liza Campbell Tice (Brian), his step children Mickey Toole (Tracie), Kimberly Toole, grandchildren, Lena Tice, Faith Rudd (Jordan), great grandchild, Marshall Rudd, sisters, Merita Ann Mitchell, Freeta Martin, brother in laws, Steve Corbin (Perla) and Dennis Wilson (Yulondia) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. with the Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 P.M. Interment will be held at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Jackson County, Florida. Dr. Mike Orr and Reverend Shane Martin will be officiating the services.
