Jerry Wayne Bass, age 65, passed away Wednesday August 5, 2015 at his home. He was born in Graceville, FL on September 10, 1949 to Buddy Bass and Myrlee (Grantham). Jerry worked as a brick mason and was of the Baptist faith. He was a life-long resident of Jackson County. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and one son Justin Bass. He is survived by his two sons Tyler Reed Bass of Wausau, FL and Christopher Ryan Bass of Graceville, FL. 3 daughters Sherry Lynn Bass of Graceville, FL, Jacqulyn Charlene Bass of Graceville, FL, and Angela Renee Bass and husband Bryant of Chipley, FL. 2 sister Artelma Wright of Rehobeth, AL and Carolyn Drummond of Cottondale, FL, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. prior to the service.
