Mrs. Jeanette Gandy, 80, of Chipley, Florida passed from this life on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Washington Rhab. and Nursing Center in Chipley, Florida. Mrs. Gandy was born on February 15, 1930 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, to Ira and Edna (Gainey) Henderson. She had resided in Chipley, Florida since 1961 coming from DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the First Baptist Church in Chipley, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, Chipley, Florida with the Rev. Michael Orr officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwide Baptist Church Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs, Florida with Brown Funeral Home Directing. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, Chipley,Florida. She is preceded in death by her Parents and also One Brother Lynn Henderson, Two Sisters Willie Dee Cuchens and Wilma Cuchens. Survivors include her husband Wallace C. Gandy, Chipley, Florida. Two Sons Royce Clifton and wife Nancy Gandy, St. Augustine, Florida and Tony Wallace Gandy and Carol Bailey, Ocala, Florida. Maveen Bruner, Caryville, Florida, Anneice and husband Ava Baker, Choctaw Beach, Florida and Carolyn Austin, Smyrna, Georgia.
