Janice F. Baxley Baker went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2019, while at the River Valley Rehabilitation Center in Blounstown, FL.

She was a lifelong resident of this area.  She was born on June 24, 1937 in Graceville, FL to the late James Elmer and Flora Dell Smith Baxley.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Nell Baker and two sons, Thomas Anthony Baker and Richard Earl Langford, and three grandchildren, Richard Lewis Langford, Johathan Earl Langford and Coltyn Blaiyne McClendon, four brothers and one sister.

She has five surviving children, Janie Dillon and husband Barry of Ashville, NC, Barbara Finch and husband Leonard of Chipley, FL, Jeff Langford and wife Bettie of Marianna, FL, Terry Langford of Chipley, FL, and Kenny Baker and wife Linda of Alford, FL.  She has 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 2 special family members, Utanna and Beanie.

Services will be held at Brown Funeral Home. Viewing will be on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home with Reverend Cloys Joiner officiating.  Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
