Janet Marie Phillips, age 57 of Vernon, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 in the Bay Medical Center. A native of Kankakee, Illinois, she had been a resident of Vernon since 1980, coming from Miami. She was a homemaker and member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Vernon.
Survivors include; her parents, Clyde and Ruth Winstead of Chipley; her husband, Roy Frank Phillips of Vernon; two sons, Clinton Wesley Phillips of Vernon and Roy Matthew Phillips of Greenhead, Fla.; one daughter, Ashley Marie Phillips of Vernon; one brother, John Winstead of Illinois and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11:00A.M., Saturday, May 19, 2012 in the Eastside Baptist Church in Vernon with the Reverend Mike Browning officiating. Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
