James Burton McGovern, age 73 of Chipley, died Tuesday, October 13th, 2009, at his home. A native of Massachusetts, he had retired as a self-employed heavy machinery sweeping service. Survivors include three Daughters; Laurie Traya of Japan, Lisa Murphy and Leslie Payette both of Massachusetts. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 at 2 PM in the God's Vineyard Church in Vernon with the Rev. Randy Wilson officiating.
