James Douglas Kirkland, age 49 of Chipley, FL passed away at his home Saturday, December 27, 2014. James was born November 19, 1965 in Panama City, FL to Jerome and Gladys ( Clewis ) Kirkland. He has been a resident of Chipley since 1993 coming from West Bay. Along with his parents, survivors include, former wife, Belinda Jones Kirkland of Greenhead, FL, one son Derek Kirkland and fiancé Kristen Glasgow of Greenhead, FL, one brother, Thomas Kirkland of West Bay, FL, one sister, Caroline Joyner of Chipley, FL, two grandchildren, Kinley and Avery Kirkland. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace and Glory Church 912 Brickyard Road, Chipley, FL 32428 with Chaplin Frank Keller, Reverend Leon Jenkins and Pastor Stephanie Cox officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral service at the church. Interment will follow at the West Bay Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
