James (Dyb) Dybdal, age 63 of Chipley, passed away Sunday, November 4, in the Northwest Florida Community Hospital. Dyb was born February 18, 1949 in Panama City to the late Thomas Jefferson and Eva (Finch) Dybdal, who later remarried to Bill Hurd. He had been a resident of Washington County for most of his life and was an engineer with Gulf Coast Electric Co-Op. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include: his wife, Judy Dybdal of Chipley; one son, Dail Dybdal and wife Chasity of Wausau; one daughter, Jill Drummond and husband Chris of Panama City; one brother, Donald R. Miller of Panama City; four grandchildren, Jenai, Lancin, Makenna and Tracin; one great granddaughter, Charleigh; son-in-law, Perry Beote; a host of extended family and loving friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel with Dail Dybdal and Rev. James Guy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Memorialization will be by cremation.
