Irene Bragg, age 100, passed from this life Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, FL. She was born in Faydette, AL, on February 4, 1916, to John J. and Missouri A. Toole Redmon. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband John L. Bragg. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Collins of Immokalee, FL, Dean Barbare of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Gwen Axenroth of Huntsville, AL; three sons, John Bragg of Chipley, FL, Jack Bragg of Alachua, FL, and Ken Bragg of Chipley, FL; one sister, Mamie Yon of Panama City, FL; one brother, Loyd Redmon of Chipley, FL; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 1:00 P.M., at the First Baptist Church in Chipley, FL, with the Rev. Mike Orr officiating. Interment will follow at the New Henson Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon at the church prior to the service.
