Hubert H. Sasser, age 89 of Chipley, died Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at his home. A native and life-long resident of Chipley, he had retired as a truck driver for the Florida Dept. of Transportation and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chipley. Mr. Sasser is preceded in death by his parents; Houston and Carrie Sasser and a Daughter; Helen Sasser. Survivors include his wife of 68 years; Edna M. Sasser of Chipley, one Daughter; Ellen M. Rowell of Marianna, three Grandchildren; Michael J. Rowell and wife Amy, Marie Laramore and Helen D. Gaut, six Great Grandchildren; Kayla Rowell, Hana Rowell, Mason Rowell, Anna Gaut, Miranda Gaut and Kaci Laramore. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13th at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Main Street, with the Rev. Michael Orr officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
