Hilton V. Jones, 61 of Chipley, Florida, passed from this life on May 30, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Hilton was born on October 7, 1963 in Dothan, Alabama to Karon M. Jones and Anna Ruth Coker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Milton Jones; grandson: Elijah Henderson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Johnna Kay Jones of Chipley, Florida; sons: Travis Jones of Bonifay, Florida, Aaron Jones of Minnesota; brother: Tim Jones and wife Monique of Graceville, Florida; sisters: Angela Bane of Graceville, Florida, Kim Newkirk and husband Jamie of Chipley, Florida; step sons: Wesley Henderson of Chipley, Florida, Jeremiah Pippin of Bonifay, Florida; grandchildren: Jade Jones, Tye Jones, Gavin Henderson, Madison Johnson and husband Michael.

Mr. Jones was most well-known for his approximate 30 years of dedicated service in the propane industry. On a yearly basis he delivered thousands of gallons of propane to residential or commercial customers, servicing heaters, residential tanks, hvac systems, peanut dryers etc.. He began his propane service with Edward Crutchfield Service & LP Gas out of Graceville, FL and ended with Thompson Propane out of Bonifay, FL.

Mr. Jones loved his work and never faltered, He also loved fishing, piddling, playing a scratch off ticket and spending time with his family. A father, husband, papa, brother etc.. chosen by his savior to leave this world way to soon!

Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Monday, June 2, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home with Chaplain James Dawsey and Bobby Mcintosh officiating. Interment will follow in Hard Labor Cemetery in Chipley, Florida.

The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at Brown Funeral Home.
