Harold Dwight Sober, age 85, of Chipley, died Monday, January 4th, 2010 at his home. A native of Leechburg, Pa., he had been a resident of Chipley since 1992, coming from Pennsylvania. Mr. Sober was a retired steel worker, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and a member of the Chipley First United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his Wife; Etta Sober. Survivors include one Son; Dan Sober and Wife Cheryl of Chipley, one Daughter; Donna Pollick and Husband Ronald of Ford City, Pa., one Brother; Paul Sober of Leechburg, Pa., one Sister; Dorothy Sober of Leechburg, Pa., six Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7th, 2010 at 10 A.M. at the Graveside in Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama.
