Guy Alfred "Mike" Lear Jr., age 71, passed from this life Saturday, May 26, 2012. Mr. Lear was a resident of Washington County coming from Sikeston, Missouri. He was very much loved by many. He was predeceased by his father, Guy A. Lear Sr. of Rock Island, IL., mother; Esther G. Lear of Rock Island, IL., and two sisters; Darlene Depover of Davenport, IA. and Shirley and husband Glen Hollenbeck of Moline, IL. Mr. Lear was survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Lear of Chipley, Fl., brother; Fred Lear and wife Laura of Silvis, Illinois and six children; Gwyn Winchell & husband Fred Winchell of Rouse, NY., Deanna Murphy of Youngstown, Fl., Guy A. Lear III, of Southport, Fl., Gary A. Lear & wife Betty Lear of Youngstown, Fl., Wanda Boyette of Panama City, Fl. and Carla Nelson & husband Larry Nelson of Navarre, Fl. Mr. Lear also had 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Saturday July 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Holmes Creek Baptist Church in Chipley.
