Gracie Inez Boyd Laney, age 99, passed from this life Thursday, October 13, 2022 at her home. She was born in Baxley, Georgia on March 27, 1923 to Horace and Gracie (Smith) Crapps.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband's; Warner Anthony Boyd and William Laney, her brother, Tommy Capps and sister-in-law, Loretta Crapps, one sister, Minnie Capps, one grandchild; Robert Brady Provost and one great grandchild; Michaela Vosika.

Inez is survived by her son; Michael Boyd, her daughter; Gail Provost, her step-sons; Bill Laney, Max Laney and wife Donna, her grandchildren; Kelly Brady Provost, Erick Provost, and Michael Vosika and wife Robin, her great grandchildren; Zachary Provost and wife Augusta, Ericka Provost, Kassidy Vosika and Kolby Vosika, and one great great grandchild; Zander Provost, two step grandsons, Thomas Laney and John Laney.  She is also survived by many extended family members from Baxley, GA and special little friends Nori, Addy and Ben.

The funeral service will take place at 2:30 P.M., Monday, October 17, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1:30-2:30 P.M. prior to the service.
